The 1000BT body-pack transmitter features reduced current-drain for improved battery life, drawing less than 62mA from a single 9V alkaline battery. Other features include an LCD readout and digital frequency selection. The 1000BT is a frequency-agile transmitter with 121 on-board user selectable UHF frequencies with a range of 723 to 735MHz. The 1000XT will work flawlessly with the Azden 1000URX Broadcast Professional Camera-Mount UHF Wireless Receiver in all its configurations.

Compact and Unobtrusive Transmitter Unit

The 1000BT transmitter is small enough to also be tucked into a jacket or pants pocket.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone. Turn clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease the input gain.

Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will act as a mute that maintains the RF signal but turns off the audio.

Locking 4-Pin Hirose Connector

This 4-pin Hirose connector is the microphone input. Azden produces a number of lapel, head-worn and neck-worn microphones that are specifically suited for the 1000BT. In addition, other externally powered (5VDC) electret condenser microphones can be used when they are properly wired with the correct Hirose connector.

121 User-Selectable Frequencies

For broadcast professionals, Azden's 1000 Series UHF offers 121 digitally selectable UHF frequencies (723 to 735MHz) in a very compact and lightweight package. Channels can be selected by setting the LCD display to either the Frequency or Channel views. Using either the UP or DOWN button the desired receiving frequency or channel number can be set. Tapping the button steps the frequency or channel number one at a time while pressing and holding the button in moves through the frequencies or channel numbers rapidly. There are 121 different frequencies or channel numbers to chose from.

Multi-Function LCD

Multi-function LCD shows channel number and frequency, battery info and AF level. The LCD segments on the left of the display show the approximate remaining battery life (from 1 to 3 segments) with 3 segments meaning maximum battery power. The bottom segment will blink when the battery power falls to less than 6.2V and indicates that it is time to replace the battery. Across the top of the display, up to 5 segments will illuminate depending on the strength of the transmitted audio signal -- from 2 (weak) to 5 (strong). The first (left) segment will light when the Audio switch is turned to ON.
