The 1000XT is a compact plug-in transmitter which converts both dynamic and phantom powered microphones to wireless. Using a special 'lock-down' XLR connector for a secure grip, the transmitter draws less than 60mA from a single 9V Alkaline battery. Featured are separate Power and Audio switches, a microphone input level control and an LCD display. Additionally, the 1000XT provides switched phantom power.

The 1000XT is a frequency-agile transmitter with 121 on-board user selectable UHF frequencies with a range of 723 to 735MHz. The 1000XT will work flawlessly with the Azden 1000URX Broadcast Professional Camera-Mount UHF Wireless Receiver in all its configurations.

Plug-in XLR Microphone Transmitter

Convert any XLR microphone into a wireless. Usng a special lockdown XLR connector for a secure grip on your mic, the 1000XT is powered by a single 9V alkaline battery.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone. Turn clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease the input gain.

Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will act as a mute that maintains the RF signal but turns off the audio.

121 User-Selectable Frequencies

For broadcast professionals, Azden's 1000 Series UHF offers 121 digitally selectable UHF frequencies (723 to 735MHz) in a very compact and lightweight package. Channels can be selected by setting the LCD display to either the Frequency or Channel views. Using either the UP or DOWN button the desired receiving frequency or channel number can be set. Tapping the button steps the frequency or channel number one at a time while pressing and holding the button in moves through the frequencies or channel numbers rapidly. There are 121 different frequencies or channel numbers to chose from.

Multi-Function LCD

Multi-function LCD shows channel number and frequency, battery info and AF level. The LCD segments on the left of the display show the approximate remaining battery life (from 1 to 3 segments) with 3 segments meaning maximum battery power. The bottom segment will blink when the battery power falls to less than 6.2V and indicates that it is time to replace the battery. Across the top of the display, up to 5 segments will illuminate depending on the strength of the transmitted audio signal -- from 2 (weak) to 5 (strong). The first (left) segment will light when the Audio switch is turned to ON.

Switched Phantom Power

Allows you the flexibility to use dynamic or condenser microphones (9V or less) with the 1000XT.
