Azden Corporation, the leader in wireless for videography, introduces the Azden 15XT UHF wireless XLR plug-in transmitter. The Azden 15XT is a compact plug-in transmitter which converts dynamic XLR microphones to wireless using a special 'lock-down' XLR connector for a secure grip. Unlike the entry-level models of its competitors, which have 1, 2, 10 or 16 channels, the 15XT offers 92 user-selectable channels, so you'll always find a clear channel. This wireless system uses new UHF frequencies (566.25-589.75 MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission. The 15XT transmitter is designed to work flawlessly with the Azden 105UPR Ultra-Compact On-Camera UHF Wireless Receiver and operates for 6-8 hours using two AA Alkaline batteries.

Plug-in XLR Microphone Transmitter

Convert any dynamic XLR microphone into a wireless. Usng a special lockdown XLR connector for a secure grip on your mic, the 15XT is powered by two AA alkaline batteries.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone.

Separate Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will cause the receiver to mute due to the tone squelch circuitry at the receiver. This allows the microphone to be handled with no noise.

92 User-Selectable Frequencies

The Azden 105 system is a frequency agile system, meaning that you choose the frequency of both the transmitter and receiver via the group and channel controls. The 15XT offers 92 user-selectable channels, so you'll always find a clear channel. This wireless microphone system uses new UHF frequencies (566.25-589.75 MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission.

Operates on Two AA Batteries
