The Azden 305UPR is a compact, single-channel, on-camera UHF wireless receiver designed and engineered for the professional videographer. A successor to the popular 300UPR camera-mounted single-channel UHF receiver, the 305UPR has a new pivoting high-gain antenna, stereo output, and digital LCD display with multi-function read-out. Smaller than the Azden 500UDR UHF wireless receiver, the Azden 305UPR is perfect for the newer, smaller DV cameras. The attached shoe-mount is perfect for mounting the receiver horizontally to the camera. The 305UPR has a balanced mini-jack microphone output, a headphone output and an LCD display that provides information such as frequency selected, reception quality and battery life. It operates on just two AA batteries, and comes with both dual-plug XLR and stereo mini-plug output cables.

The Azden 305UPR UHF Wireless receiver features 188 frequencies to digitally choose from, so you'll always find a clear channel. This wireless camera-mount receiver uses new UHF frequencies (566.125-589.875MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission. The 305UPR has a unique dual-function DC jack which allows optional NiMH batteries to be recharged while in the receiver or the receiver to be powered from an optional external power supply.
