The Azden 305XT is a complete system which includes one 35XT XLR plug-in transmitter and the 305UPR receiver. The 305UPR receiver and 35BT transmitter all feature 188 frequencies to digitally choose from, so you'll always find a clear channel. This wireless camera-mount system uses new UHF frequencies (566.125-589.875MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission.

The Azden 305UPR is a compact, single-channel, on-camera UHF wireless receiver designed and engineered for the professional videographer. A successor to the popular 300UPR camera-mounted single-channel UHF receiver, the 305UPR has a new pivoting high-gain antenna, stereo output, and digital LCD display with multi-function read-out. Smaller than the Azden 500UDR UHF wireless receiver, the Azden 305UPR is perfect for the newer, smaller DV cameras. The attached shoe-mount is perfect for mounting the receiver horizontally to the camera. The 305UPR has a balanced mini-jack microphone output, a headphone output and an LCD display that provides information such as frequency selected, reception quality and battery life. It operates on just two AA batteries, and comes with both dual-plug XLR and stereo mini-plug output cables. The 305UPR has a unique dual-function DC jack which allows optional NiMH batteries to be recharged while in the receiver or the receiver to be powered from an optional external power supply.

Convert any dynamic XLR microphone into a wireless. Usng a special lockdown XLR connector for a secure grip on your mic, the 35XT is powered by two AA alkaline batteries.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone. Turn clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease the input level. A small screwdriver is supplied to make these adjustments.

Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will cause the receiver to mute due to the tone squelch circuitry at the receiver. This allows the microphone to be handled with no noise.
