The Elinchrom Mini A Flashhead accepts 2400Ws. Smaller, lighter, and more portable, the Mini A retains all the advantages of its "bigger brother" lampheads. The classical metal housing complements the compact dimensions of the RX power packs. This is no eco-unit; all components, flashtubes, fans, power cables conform to the normal Elinchrom standards. In addition, the patented "double bayonet" mounting ring assures full compatibility with Elinchrom's extensive line of reflectors, softboxes, and light banks.

Mini heads are build to Elinchrom's exacting standard but are smaller and budget priced. They include a robust aluminium metal housing with a cooling fan, a heavy-dury 16.4-foot cable and a 150 W halogen modelling lamp. The Mini A head offers the same performance as the Mini S head with the additional feature of an action-freezing flash tube with ultra-short flash duration. A Digital 1200RX Power Pack with two Mini A heads connected freezes action at 1/3700 second.
