Elinchrom Ranger RX Power Pack

Complete portable power without the need for generators, AC outlets or long extension cables. The Ranger features a "go anywhere" weather resistant design, self-sealing rubber protectors, raised sockets complete with covers, with electronics only in the upper part of the unit. The upgraded Ranger RX unit is designated RX because it may be operated by remote control -- by computer or by a handset -- enormously increasing the ease of use on location. The Ranger RX has an improved "fast" recycling sequence (5.9 seconds).

140 Full Power Flashes on a 3-Hour Battery Charge

Ideal for sports, fashion, and portrait photography, the Ranger RX offers up to 140 full power flashes or 3,800 at low power from one full battery charge. Battery recharge time is approximately 3 hours to full power.

Multi-Voltage International Charger

The multi-voltage charger comes with European, USA and UK adapters. The charger can charge the battery in the unit or externally.

Precision Output Control

You to change the output in 1/10-stop increments and track the changes on an easy-to-read digital display.

Battery Overcharge/Complete Discharge Protection

Battery Box Quick Release

Simply press the two push buttons at the left and right side of the housing and lift up the unit releasing the existing battery -- then place the pack over the replacement battery, pressing firmly down for automatic locking.

Weather Resistant Design

Elinchrom Ranger Free Lite S Flashhead

The 2400Ws Elinchrom Ranger Free Lite S Flashhead dedicated to the Elinchrom Ranger battery-powered pack system. Smaller, lighter, and more portable, the Free Lite S retains all the advantages of its "bigger brother" lampheads. The Free Lite S features a 16-foot, low resistance power cable, modeling light switch and safety fuse. In addition, the patented "double bayonet" mounting ring assures full compatibility with Elinchrom's extensive line of reflectors, softboxes, and light banks. The special plug with locking ring ensures secure operation when connected properly to a Ranger RX power pack.

The Free Lite S uses Elinchrom's traditional, longer-life standard duration flashtube, preferred for still life, portrait, and general applications. It features a 2400Ws standard duration flashtube with a 50W modeling lamp and a switch to turn the modelling lamp on for 15 seconds, 30 seconds or off.
