Aluminum Alloy Construction

Gitzo has launched a new aluminum tube: 30% lighter than its predecessor, with 1.2 mm thick walls and a built-in Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR). It features a brushed matte black finish that improves leg locking performance and minimizes light reflection. For the cast components, Gitzo uses top quality aluminum alloys and gravity casting -- more expensive than pressure casting, but able to guarantee that components are free from internal air bubbles that could compromise solidity and durability.

ALR (Anti Leg Rotation)

Gitzo's new Anti Leg Rotation system means the monopod can be opened quickly and the height can be easily and precisely adjusted. Simply loosen all the twist locks on the leg at the same time, then pull the leg down and tighten the locks individually.

Removable Rubber Foot

The Gitzo GM2341 monopod is provided with a removable rubber foot. This feature allows you to easily change a worn out rubber foot or to fit other accessories, such as a spiked foot or snow/sand shoe.
