The KATA 3N1-20 Camera Sling Backpack holds a Digital SLR with battery grip and mid-range zoom lens attached plus 3 or 4 more lenses, flash units and other accessories. This unique bag provides ultimate flexibility and allows for three carrying options while morphing from camera sling to backpack and back again fast and easy by use of its quick release buckles. In sling position, the bag easily swings around from back to front to achieve quick draw access to your main camera and backup lenses as well as fast and easy changing of lenses. In backpack position and "X" position you can comfortably carry your equipment for long distance walking when needed.

The included chest belt and balancing hip strap helps take the load of your heavy equipment off your shoulders. Arrange your equipment in the bottom main compartment of the pack taking full advantage of the modular dividers to custom fit the bag to your exact equipment. The large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional gear, and the internal pockets and mp3 player pouch will allow you to organize your personal effects as efficiently as your photographic gear. Two external pockets allow quick zippered access to accessories without opening the main compartments.

The included rain cover folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets. The sling backpack is also compatible with the optional Kata insertrolley when easy, wheel along transportation is needed.

Three Carrying Configurations

Kata's 3N1 sling backpacks morph from sling to backpack and back again providing ultimate freedom of use. These unique bags hold and protect your camera equipment while allowing you quick draw for shooting.

Backpack configuration for long distance carrying: Pull the black shoulder strap out of the concealment sleeve. Connect the left shoulder strap to the left hip buckle. Pull lower buckle to adjust shoulder strap length For additional comfort you can connect the hip belt.

X-Position for long distance carrying plus quick draw option: Pull unused shoulder strap from concealment sleeve and attach to hip buckle on opposite side. Arrange padded sleeves so they sit comfortably on your chest.To move swiftly back to quick draw position, release one of the hip buckles.

Sling quick draw option: Hold red shoulder strap in your non-shooting hand. Swing bag over your non-shooting hand's shoulder across your chest. Pull lower buckle to adjust the shoulder strap length.

TST (Thermo Shield Technology) is a state-of-the-art solution that gives maximum protection for digital equipment while creating an extremely light product. The unique TST Rib provides structural protection against shock and impact.

Customizable Main Compartment With Modular Padded Divider System

The main (bottom) compartment holds a Digital SLR with battery grip and long-range zoom lens attached while the modular divider system will separate, organize and protect 5 or 6 more lenses, flash units and other accessories. Remove this insert when not shooting and the rucksack easily converts to an everyday pack.

Large Top Compartment With Internal Pockets And mp3 Player Pouch

The simple yet ingenious Insertrolley System is an available option for the 3N1-20. It allows you to either use the trolley separately or with more than one case. Simply slide the trolley through the sleeve on the rucksack for secure and easy mobility. You can detach the trolley when you want to store it and easily replace it if damaged. Patented extendable wheel system helps to better stabilize larger cases.
