KATA Camera Backpacks, Waist Packs and Sling Carriers
The KATA Grizzly-3 is a large camera backpack which can also be used as a daily camera case. Thanks to KATA's Modi-Vers system, this unique design fits a large range of cameras from compact cameras with many accessories to full size professional cameras with battery and lens installed. The thickly-padded main compartment opens horizontally for easy access to camera and accessories, even when the case is on your back. Five pockets provide various storage options while also protecting your equipment by separating it from your personal effects. Grizzly-3 presents four carrying options: on your back using the Advanced harness system, on your shoulder or across your chest using shoulder strap (not included), by hand using the interlocking handle, or wheeled with the optional Insertrolley System.
Thermo Shield Technology (TST) combined with reinforced plastic boards and thick closed cell padding create the lightwieght, ultra-protective KATA BP-502 backpack. The BP-502 was specially designed to fit and give separate quick draw to camcorders like the Canon XL-2/XL-1s and downwards through the Sony PD-170, the Panasonic DVX100A and similar models with laptop, many accessories and personal effects. KATA's HB-207 Hiker Backpack features a level of protection you haven't seen before. KATA's Thermo Shield Technology (TST) protection safeguards the camera compartment and the bottom of the case while keeping it light. The extensive main compartment easily accommodates a variety of DV camcorders such as the Sony HVR-Z1, Panasonic DVX100A or JVC GY-DV300. For photographers, the main compartment easily accommodates 2-3 SLR bodies together with up to 8 lenses (up to 400 mm f 2.8). A rear compartment will hold up to a 17-inch laptop. A separately accessed top compartment will hold a still camera with lens installed for quick removal, or a variety of accessories. A large rear laptop compartment, two soft TST open pockets for water bottles or a small tripod, and an assortment of pockets all work together to provide the ultimate carrying and protecting solution for outdoor photographers. The HB-207's advanced harness system is designed for complete adjustment of all components: shoulder straps, 6-point adjustable waist belt and lumbar pad, ensuring the perfect ergonomic fit for each individual carrier. When not in use, the harness can be neatly folded out of the way for easy storage or to allow for the addition of the included KATA Insertrolley.
The KATA R-106 Camera Rucksack is now bigger and better. The R-106 Rucksack is cleverly designed to hold camcorders such as the Sony EX1, Panasonic HVX200, Canon XH A1 or XH G1 and similar sized models. For photographers, the R-106 Rucksack will hold large digital SLR cameras with a battery grip and a long telephoto lens attached, plus accessories. The R-106 offers an ergonomic harness and waist belt with a unique cushioning and shock absorbing system combined with a five-point adjustment mechanism. Together these features provide optimal ventilation and weight distribution. The unique design gives quick, separate access to the camcorder or camera in the central compartment, while the rest of the equipment surrounding it remains secure. The R-106 includes a well-padded divider set, which allows you to organize the interior to fit your equipment setup requirements. If needed, extra Modi-Vers divider kits are available separately. The R-106 also includes a tripod holder with an upper adjustable strap. The tripod can be carried on the central part of the Rucksack or on one of the sides.
The KATA R-104 Camera Rucksack is designed to fit a professional digital SLR body with a battery grip and up to a 300mm lens attached, an extra body, 4-5 lenses plus a 17-inch Laptop and accessories. For video, the R-104 is designed to fit camcorders similar in size to the Panasonic DVX100A and Sony V1 with media, batteries and charger. The unique design provides quick, separate access to your camera in the central compartment while the rest of the equipment surrounding it remains secure. As with all KATA R Series camera rucksacks, the entire main compartment of the R-104 can be easily customized with the well padded dividers. Additional storage is available in the form of two removable side pockets that will also fit a water bottle. A rear laptop compartment provided with an elasto-guard laptop sleeve can hold up to most 17-inch laptops. When using smaller laptops the compartment will suffice without the sleeve, and when not carrying a laptop at all this compartment can hold personal effects. An included tripod holder attaches to either the back of the bag or one of the sides, allowing your tripod to be carried on the outside of the Rucksack.

Lightweight and protective, it will cater to the smallest detail of a professional's working needs. The backpack opens from behind, with the camera gear within secured by a full-zippered flap which also sports flat storage pockets. This flap can be fully or partially opened according to need. The main compartment will hold a large amount of gear, such as two or three Digital SLR camera bodies with four to six lenses (up to 300 mm), flash and many other photo accessories. Use the modular Aeriform Dividers to custom fit the bag to your exact gear needs and secure that gear all snugly in place. The compact KATA R-102 Rucksack is a slightly smaller version of the KATA R-103 Rucksack without the rear laptop compartment. In all other ways its features and capacities are virtually identical to the R-103. The R-102 includes a well-padded dividing set, which allows you to organize it to fit your requirements. If needed, extra Modi-Vers-Kit is available. In addition, the R-102 includes a TST tripod holder with its connecting V shape device and an upper adjustable strap (the tripod can be carried on the central part of the Rucksack or on one of the sides).
The compact KATA R-101 Rucksack is designed to hold a medium or small digital SLR body with up to 200mm lens attached, two to four additional lenses and accessories, or a mini DV camcorder with accessories. Additional accessories, tapes, batteries, filters, charger, cables and personal essentials can be stored in the spacious arched lid compartment, the two outside pockets and the central mesh/vinyl pocket. The rear padded compartment will hold a small laptop (up to 12-inch) or additional accessories. A five-point adjustment mechanism and specially designed Camera Straps will take the camera load off your neck (they can be turned into a regular camera strap by connecting to the provided extender). A detachable hip belt can be connected to the bottom back loops that are designated to attach the R-101 to KATA's EPH system.
The D-Light Bumblebee-210 DL is stylish, functional lightweight, protective backpack which is designed to carry camera gear plus everyday personal effects and can easily convert into a simple, useful daypack when it's not carrying a camera. The RL-302 Laptop Rucksack is designed for professionals and executives on the go. The backpack will organize, store and protect all your equipment as well as your traveling gear. Specifically designed features include a quick-access pocket for wallet and passport, and a zip-up mesh water bottle pouch. The harness system will ensure ultimate weight distribution, and when not in use will fold out of the way. The KATA Insertrolley is an available option for easy roll-along transportation. Large front and rear padded compartments with organizer panels will hold folders, paperwork, laptop accessories and much more. Numerous designated pockets throughout will hold all your personal effects such as a mobile phone, PDA, MP3 player and more. The KATA Sensitivity V Camera Backpack is a camera daypack that can carry and protect a laptop, a digital camera or SLR with accessories, plus an MP3/MP4 player, a PDA and a cellphone. The main compartment is divided into two flexible compartments by a zippered divider, which can be removed to create one large space. Two U-shaped front flaps provide separate access to the top and bottom compartments, and each functions as a flexible pocket in its own right. The top section includes an internal organizer panel for personal effects, a detachable elongated zip pouch and a small roaming media pocket. The Kata T-216 Torso Pack is the largest version of the KATA Torso Pack. The T-216 is uniquely designed to keep your digital SLR with battery grip and zoom lens up to 70-200mm attached in quick-draw position, while TST protected. The main compartment holds a camcorder or a digital SLR with battery grip and up to lens attached in top grip position while the rest of the compartment can be customized with included dividers to store and protect additional lenses, flash or other accessories.
