The KATA CC-197 Camera Shoulder Case is a compact, TST padded case designed to hold a range of DV and HDV camcorders. The CC-197 fits camcorders up to the size of the Canon XL H1 or the JVC GY-HD100/110/200/250 with accessories and mounted mattbox. The CC-197 features a reinforced modular bottom panel and a unique viewfinder and microphone circumferential protection in the form of a removable Reinforced Aluminum Frame (RAF).

Additional accessories will fit in the remaining space of the main compartment, and the additional full-length interior compartment or the full-length external pocket. Internal dividers are included and if needed additional Modi-Vers dividers are available. The CC-197 lid is secured by a quick closure buckle. One pull allows for a quick full opening of the parallel zipper set. Carrying options include the supplied padded shoulder strap and a padded Mesh-Grip handle.

TST (Thermo Shield Technology)

TST is a state-of-the-art solution that gives the perfect protection for the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product.

1. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "ribshape" construction (Patent Pending).
2. It is made of Super Nylon -- a Mil-Std, double cord, water and dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric.
3. Underneath, a cross-linked, closed cell PE+EVA shield is impact and shock protective while providing comprehensive insulation against cold, heat and moisture.
4. The internal padding provides the necessary cushioning and vibration reduction.
5. The lining is KATA's unique Yelloop material which is fabricated especially for the anti-scratch and anti-static requirements while allowing divider attachment for internal partitioning.

"Yelloop" Interior With Modi-Vers Divider System

Like most KATA products, the CC-197 is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease. Internal dividers are included and, if needed, Modi-Vers dividers kits are available, enabling you to create compartments inside the case that meet your exact requirements.

The simple yet ingenious Insertrolley System can be used with many Kata cases. It allows you to either use the trolley separately or with more than one case. Simply slide the trolley through the sleeve on the cases for secure and easy mobility. You can detach the trolley when you want to store it and easily replace it if damaged. Patented extendable wheel system helps to better stabilize larger cases.

APSS - Advanced Padded Shoulder Strap

KATA's Patented shoulder strap is constructed from 5 layers, thermo molded to the desired shape and softness. The special dot fabric stabilizes the strap on the shoulder. On one shoulder or across the chest, the double-sided APSS has a unique curved shape that prevents it from digging into the wearer's neck while offering optimal weight distribution. The strap comes with two snap-hooks, which can easily be connected to any case.
