The KATA Multi-Case MC-61 is the perfect companion for the genuine field digital videographer and photographer. It combines all you'll need in one case. For example, the ability to carry camcorders such as the Sony HVR-Z1, HDR-FX1, PD-170, Panasonic DVX100A, JVC GY-DV300, Canon GL-2 and similar sized models -- combined with a laptop, professional and personal accessories -- maintaining each piece of equipment and gear in its own designated compartment. Plus a level of protection you've never seen before, supplied by KATA's Thermo-Shield Technology and the heavily padded walls of the bag. Not to mention multiple, ergonomically-perfected carrying possibilities: KATA's B-shaped shoulder strap, interlocking handles and the Insertrolley option.

For professional photographers, the Multi-Case MC-61 handles digital SLR or medium format cameras with laptop and many accessories. TST (Thermo Shield Technology)

TST is a state-of-the-art solution that gives the perfect protection for the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product.

1. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "ribshape" construction (Patent Pending).
2. It is made of Super Nylon -- a Mil-Std, double cord, water and dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric.
3. Underneath, a cross-linked, closed cell PE+EVA shield is impact and shock protective while providing comprehensive insulation against cold, heat and moisture.
4. The internal padding provides the necessary cushioning and vibration reduction.
5. The lining is KATA's unique Yelloop material which is fabricated especially for the anti-scratch and anti-static requirements while allowing divider attachment for internal partitioning.

Double Sided Elements Cover

An emergency Elements Cover is included with the KATA MC-61 to protect your case and equipment in inclement weather: black side out in rain or snow, and in sun reverse to silver for heat reflection.

Modi-Vers System

"Yelloop" Interior With Modi-Vers Divider System Option

Like most KATA products, the MC-61 is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease. Two sets of internal dividers are included and, if needed, Modi-Vers dividers kits are available, enabling you to create compartments inside the case that meet your exact requirements.

CLICK Interlocking Handles

KATA's patented CLICK handles have been designed and field-tested for sure grip and optimal comfort. The unique engineering of shape and thermo-rubber pads ergonomically fit your hand. Just 'click' the two parts together and you are ready to go!

Dual-Purpose Buckle

The shoulder strap attaches to the bag via this rugged yet lightweight buckle, which accepts either a quick-release hook or the strap itself. Either option ensures that the strap will cross the shoulder at the optimal ergonomic angle to provide comfort and stability.

Insertrolley Optional Accessory

The simple yet ingenious Insertrolley System can be used with many Kata cases. It allows you to either use the trolley separately or with more than one case. Simply slide the trolley through the sleeve on the cases for secure and easy mobility. You can detach the trolley when you want to store it and easily replace it if damaged. Patented extendable wheel system helps to better stabilize larger cases.

BSS - B-Shaped Shoulder Strap

The fully padded ergonomic shoulder strap (BSS) can be attached to the bag directly or by its snap hooks, creating an optimal User-Case-Strap angle.
