KATA Camera Rain Covers
For applications and situations that require shots to be taken in the harshest weather conditions, Kata offers the RC-HD-3 Rain Cover for larger DV camcorders. The RC-HD-3 provides the ultimate protection in severe weather conditions with the added reliability of ultra seam seal protection.
The KATA RC-1 Pro Rain Cover is taylored for full-sized camcorders with the battery and lens installed. A stiff polypropylene hood can be adjusted to fit a variety of lens sizes. Two modular removable sleeves enable the extraction of shoulder strap, wireless antenna, viewfinder etc.
The KATA RC-10 Pro Rain Cover is a smaller version of RC-1 designed for medium-sized DV and HDV camcorders such as the Sony DSR-570, JVC GY-500, Panasonic DVC-15, Canon XL-HD1 with accessories, and similar. The Rain Cover successfully protected equipment during Weather Laboratory testing in severe weather conditions. It is designed for efficiency down to the smallest detail.
The KATA CRC-11 Rain Cover is tailored to fit the Canon XL-1/XL-1s/XL-2 standard configuration. The KATA E-690 is a practical cover for small SLRs and digital cameras such as the Nikon D70, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel series, the Olympus EVOLT E-500, the Sony Mavica series, and similar. When suddenly caught by a rain shower the E-690 slips quickly over your camera and allows you to keep on shooting. Access to all camera and lens controls is available via two side sleeves.
