The Shell-03 has a unique TST Clam Shell design which offers ultra protection. Using the Modi-Vers divider system, the case can easily be adjusted to fit DV camcorders such as the Sony PD-170 and PDX-10, Panasonic DVX-100A, JVC GY-DV300, Canon GL-2 and similar models with related accessories.

An internal padded mesh pocket provides extra storage possibilities without compromising the protection of the camera. KATA's patented "CLICK" handle allows for quick closure as well as for comfortable carrying. The fully padded ergonomic shoulder strap (BSS) can be attached to the DPB directly or by its snap hooks, creating an optimal User-Case-Strap angle.

TST (Thermo Shield Technology)

TST is a state-of-the-art solution that gives the perfect protection for the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product.

1. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "ribshape" construction (Patent Pending).
2. It is made of Super Nylon -- a Mil-Std, double cord, water and dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric.
3. Underneath, a cross-linked, closed cell PE+EVA shield is impact and shock protective while providing comprehensive insulation against cold, heat and moisture.
4. The internal padding provides the necessary cushioning and vibration reduction.
5. The lining is KATA's unique Yelloop material which is fabricated especially for the anti-scratch and anti-static requirements while allowing divider attachment for internal partitioning.

"Yelloop" Interior With Modi-Vers Divider System

Like most KATA products, the SHELL-03 is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease. If needed, additional Modi-Vers kits are available, enabling you to create compartments inside the case that meet your exact requirements.
