The 055XDB,128RC is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 055XDB Black Basic Tripod and the 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head Lightweight, sturdy and portable, the Basic Tripod is one of the easiest of all Manfrotto tripods to handle. The 055XDB tripod has been designed for all 35mm and medium format photographic cameras, digital or conventional type. Equipped with a two way head, the 055XDB can also be an ideal support for spotting scopes or digital video camcorders.

The Manfrotto 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head replaces the popular 3130 Micro Fluid Head. The 128RC is the perfect support for lightweight video cameras. A lightweight head with smooth pan and tilt fluid movements, pan and tilt locks, and one fixed pan bar. Cameras up to 8.8 lbs in weight are securely attached to the head by a quick release 200PL-14 video plate system with secondary security pin and VHS PIN.

Four Different Leg Angle Pre-sets

Four pre-set independent leg angles -- 23°, 45°, 65° and 88° -- give the tripod great positioning flexibility and versatility, and allow all intermediate heights from the stated minimum to maximum levels to be reached. Stability is assured at all four angles by the spring-loaded step mechanism. Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning and to help keep camera equipment well-balanced over the tripod's center of gravity. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism has been greatly improved.
