The 128RC,055MF4 is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 055MF4 4-Section MagFiber Pro Tripod and the 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head. The Manfrotto 055MF4 MagFiber Pro Tripod is very compact due to its 4-section legs. This tripod can even fit in a backpack. Specifically designed for extreme outdoor assignments, the 055MF4 is ideal support for all SLR analog/digital camera equipment, medium format cameras and spotting scopes modified for digiscoping applications.

The Manfrotto 128RC Micro Fluid Video Head replaces the popular 3130 Micro Fluid Head. The 128RC is the perfect support for lightweight video cameras. A lightweight head with smooth pan and tilt fluid movements, pan and tilt locks, and one fixed pan bar. Cameras up to 8.8 lbs in weight are securely attached to the head by a quick release 200PL-14 video plate system with secondary security pin and VHS PIN.

Manfrotto 055MF4 4-Section MagFiber Pro Tripod

The Manfrotto 055MF4 4-Section MagFiber Pro Tripod uses the same construction as the 055MF3 and offers the same features, but the 055MF4 is even more compact due to its 4-section legs. This tripod can even fit in a backpack. The legs are constructed of 1.2mm carbon fiber tube combined with magnesium die casting, and quick-action lever locking collars made of magnesium die casting.

Like the 055MF3, the 055MF4 has a three-faceted aluminum center column, which can offset the pressure of the locking system and the torsion caused while in the horizontal position. Each leg can be set independently in one of four angle settings using the dedicated quick-action leg angle selector. The top spider is made of magnesium die casting, and includes the clamping system for the dual position center column plus a built-in bubble level.

Specifically designed for extreme outdoor assignments, the 055MF4 is ideal support for all SLR analog/digital camera equipment, medium format cameras and spotting scopes modified for digiscoping applications. To assure the best thermal resistance, all parts have been assembled using a proven pressure clamping technology that eliminates failure-prone glue joints for greater durability and in-the-field serviceability. A hand-padded carrying strap, supplied with the tripod, can also operate like a hook to hang weights from in order to increase the stability of the tripod during shoots in extreme wind conditions.

The incredible flexibility of the leg angle setting (90°) has forced Manfrotto to design a special low-angle adapter that has been incorporated in the center column.
