The 190XDB,804RC2 is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 190XDB Mini Basic Tripod and the 804RC2 Pan-Tilt Head. The 190XDB is the most economical model of the Manfrotto Discover lightweight tripod series, featuring a simple center column (no short column available) and more traditional twist locking knobs. The Basic Tripod is one of the easiest of all Manfrotto tripods to handle.

The 804RC2 3-way photo head is constructed of ultra-durable and lightweight technical polymer that reduces the weight of the head to a mere 1.74 pounds while retaining the strength and stability to easily withstand the daily rigors of the professional photographer. The lower profile 804RC2 features a spirit level and a fixed counterbalance spring on the tilt motion to help support varying equipment loads of up to 8.8 lbs. Ergonomic and newly designed handles fit comfortably in the hand, while the standard quick release plate fits snugly in the low-profile receiver.

Four Different Leg Angle Settings

The Manfrotto 190XDB Pro Tripod offers lightweight aluminum legs with four different leg angle presets -- 25°, 46°, 66° and 88° -- which allow the camera to reach all intermediate heights from minimum to maximum extension. Wider leg angles also increase the tripod's stability in bad weather conditions or on uneven terrain. Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning and to help keep camera equipment well-balanced over the tripod's center of gravity. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism have been greatly improved.

The 804RC2 3-way photo head is a 3-way photo head constructed of ultra-durable and lightweight technical polymer. The 804RC2 easily withstands the daily rigors of the professional photographer. A unique spring feature has been added to the 804RC2 to assist in the tilt motion of the head to compensate for heavier, off-center loads. Ergonomic and newly designed handles fit comfortably in the hands, while the standard quick release plate fits snugly in the low-profile receiver.

Safety Spring

The 804RC2 head is the first head in the world to use a counter spring system to help protect your equipment. A fixed spring built into the forward/back tilt axis helps to absorb the shock of the full camera weight from crashing down. The spring also makes it easier to position the camera on this axis since it opposes some of the camera weight.

Compared to the old 3030, the 804RC2 is 20% lighter thanks to a new material called Adapto specifically developed by Manfrotto for the use with high-end, professional imaging equipment.
