The 501HDV,525PKIT is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 525MVB Lightweight Video Tripod, the 501HDV Pro Video Head, the 3284 Half Ball and the MBAG90P Padded Tripod Bag.

The 525MVB is a two-stage, lightweight, high-tensile aluminum tripod that is extremely rigid and stable. A floor-level spreader aids in tripod leg angle setting. Inside the 501HDV Pro Video Head is a powerful new feature that takes its inspiration from Manfrotto's top professional video head models -- a fixed counterbalance spring that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups.

The 3284 half ball adapts flat-base video heads such as the 501 Pro Video Head for tripods with a 75mm bowl, such as the 525MVB. The MBAG90P 39.3" Padded Tripod Bag is made of high-quality durable materials. It can be hand-carried horizontally by the side handle, vertically by the end handle (also useful for storage), or shoulder-carried using the included strap.

This two stage, lightweight, high-tensile aluminum tripod is extremely rigid and stable. The 525MVB has a die-cast aluminum shoulder with a built-in 75 mm interface bowl, adjustable leg lock levers for reliability and safety in the field and a floor-level spreader which aids in tripod leg angle setting. The lowest leg section has twin spiked metal feet. The tripod can also be equipped with optional spiked feet shoes, different types of dollies and two models of mid level spreader.

Inside the 501HDV is a powerful new feature that takes its inspiration from Manfrotto's top professional video head models -- a fixed counterbalance spring (set for a typical camera plus accessories weight of 5.5 pounds) that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups. But from the outside, the first thing that you'll notice about the new 501HDV video head is its updated design -- completely retuned for much improved ergonomics with locks and knobs that allow a more solid grip and better fingertip control.
