The 501HDV,547BK is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 547B Lightweight Aluminum Pro Video Tripod, the 501HDV Pro Video Head and the MBAG100P Padded Tripod Bag. The Manfrotto 547B is an extremely lightweight single-stage aluminum video tripod, simple and easy to move. Thanks to twin upper legs and the new Manfrotto upper and lower collars, the tripod features excellent torsional rigidity and a high payload (33 pounds). The 546B features a built-in 60mm bowl interface. A 60mm half ball for flat-base tripod heads is included.

The 501HDV replaces the popular Manfrotto 501 Pro Video Head. It inherits its separate pan and tilt locks, gradual tilt friction adjustment system, flat base (with standard 3/8-inch thread), quick release camera plate and repositionable pan bar from its successful predecessor. Inside the 501HDV is a powerful new feature that takes its inspiration from Manfrotto's top professional video head models -- a fixed counterbalance spring that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups.

The MBAG100P 39.3" Padded Tripod Bag is made of high-quality durable materials. It can be hand-carried horizontally by the side handle, vertically by the end handle (also useful for storage), or shoulder-carried using the included strap.

Compared to a ground-level spreader or dolly, the mid-level spreader offers the advantage of staying well out of the mud and dirt, and thus is more suitable for use on rough terrain.
