The 503HDV,755MF3K is a complete kit consisting of the Manfrotto 755MF3 MagFiber MDeVe Tripod, the 503HDV Pro Video Head and the MBAG80P Padded Tripod Bag. The 755MF3 is one of the most innovative tripods of the MDEVE series due to the combination of low weight (carbon fiber for the legs/magnesium die casting) and high load capacity materials used for its construction. It is out of these demands that Manfrotto's MDeVe series was born.

The Manfrotto 755MF3 MagFiber MDeVe Tripod tripod provides high performance with an extremely compact and lightweight structure. The 755MF3 is made of aluminum and has carbon fiber leg sections with magnesium castings. It is a two-stage tripod supplied with quick release leg locking levers, asymmetric leg angle presets and, most significantly, Manfrotto's patent-pending, rapid center column with built-in leveling half ball. The fact that the 50mm diameter ball with bubble spirit level is attached not to the tripod top spider but to the top of the center column allows you to level the top plate (and consequently the head and camera) and even adjust the camera height without needing to make micro adjustments to the tripod legs, representing timesaving and added convenience.

Removable Center Column With Built-in 50mm Leveling Ball and Bubble Spirit Level

The 755MF3 has a removable center column with built-in 50 mm leveling ball and bubble spirit level that can easily be repositioned as a lateral arm. Not only does this allow the camera to be offset from the leg position, it is also the simplest possible way to shoot a subject from directly overhead. Center column with built-in 50mm half ball is locked using the rotating grip located at the bottom of the center column.

The 755MF3's unique center column construction and precision-machined red anodized aluminum allows the leveling ball to be locked by a detachable rotating grip built at the bottom of the center column. Continuously striving for perfection, Manfrotto has taken the 503 to the next level. The 503HDV pro fluid head boasts several new features designed specifically for today's HDV shooter and comes equipped with Manfrotto's new multi-spring, adjustable counterbalance system and an improved tilt lock.

The 503HDV combines state-of-the-art features into an easy-to-use design. An adjustable switch controls the counterbalance settings, allowing the user to adjust the multi-spring system to accommodate various payloads and for different filming needs. For enhanced ease of use, all of the controls are located on the left side of the head. The 503HDV features large ergonomic locks and knobs, an illuminated LED bubble level, a quick-release sliding plate with VHS pin, a single telescopic pan handle and flat base with 3/8" tripod socket.

The counterbalance system can be adjusted to four positions ensuring both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety.

Pan handle can be mounted left or right. Optional second handle is available. The pan handle rosette on the 503HDV is fully replaceable, allowing users to change out worn rosette without having to send the head away for repair.
