The 526,545GBK is a complete kit for heavy duty cameras. The kit consists of the Manfrotto 545GB Aluminum Pro Video Tripod, the 526 Pro Video Head and the MBAG100P Padded Tripod Bag.

Replacing the Manfrotto 515MVB tripod, the 545GB two stage, lightweight, high tensile aluminum tripod is extremely rigid and stable. Thanks to improved upper and lower collars, the tripod has greater torsion rigidity and payload (55 pounds), improving the overall shooting performance. The 526 Pro Video head directly addresses the heavy-duty, high-end ENG and EFP video market by offering a feature-packed fluid video head that has all of the combined benefits of Manfrotto's 500 series heads with the ability to support top weight loads of 35.3 pounds. The 526 offers Manfrotto's most precise fluid drag system. The MBAG100P 39.3" Padded Tripod Bag is made of high-quality durable materials. It can be hand-carried horizontally by the side handle, vertically by the end handle (also useful for storage), or shoulder-carried using the included strap.

Replacing the Manfrotto 515MVB tripod, the 545GB two stage, lightweight, high tensile aluminum tripod is extremely rigid and stable. Thanks to improved upper and lower collars, the tripod has greater torsion rigidity and payload (55 pounds), improving the overall shooting performance. The collars have also been redesigned to be aligned with the new range of single tube tripods. The 545GB has a die-cast aluminum shoulder with a built-in 100mm interface bowl, adjustable leg lock levers for reliability and safety in the field and a floor-level spreader which aids in tripod leg angle setting and improves rigidity. The 100mm interface bowl can be adapted to a 75mm interface via an optional accessory. The lowest leg section has twin spiked metal feet. The 545GB comes with quick on-off rubber shoes for better grip on smooth floors. A version of this tripod with a mid-level spreader, the Manfrotto 545B, is also available.

Manfrotto's pan and tilt movement technology is based on a system of cartridges filled with a specific silicon fluid. This technology provides the smooth, constant movement needed to achieve shake-free images while panning and tilting during all types of video shooting sessions.

Built-in 100mm Half-Ball and Spirit Level

The built-in 100mm half-ball adapts to a number of Manfrotto tripods with a 100mm receiver, allowing the quick levelling of the camera with the aid of the bright levelling bubble.

4-Step Adjustable Drag Control

The 526 offers Manfrotto's most precise fluid drag system comprised of three step settings for low, medium and high drag levels (numbered 1, 2 and 3), plus the additional no-drag setting (number 0) for such occasions as snap-pans/tilts.

Variable Counter Balance Adjustment

Counterbalance is achieved using a system of springs inside the head which help to keep the camera from rolling forwards or backwards under its own weight when the video head is tilted. This system allows a cameraman to achieve smoother tilt movements. The spring can be adjusted in order to operate from a minimum of 17.6 pounds to a maximum of 33.1 pounds.

Removable and Replaceable Pan Arm Rosette

The 526 also features a replaceable and removable pan arm rosette so if any damage occurs to the side castings, only a small part needs to be replaced; large rubber padded knobs for better grip and left side controls (tilt and pan lock, tilt drag) so they can be easily found. The 526 comes with one pan arm.

Sliding Quick-Release Plate With Secondary Safety Lock

The ability to adjust the camera plate by sliding it allows you to accurately balance the camera load on the head and reduce to a minimum the effort required to tilt it forward and backward. The plate is supplied with two 1/4" and two 3/8" camera screws.
