Replacing Manfrotto's 695 Momopod, the Manfrotto Carbon Fiber 695CX is a lightweight five-section carbon fiber monopod with magnesium locking collars. The 695CX is extremely compact with a minimum length of 18.7 inches for transportation, while its four leg extensions allowing the monopod to be rapidly extended to a maximum height of 63.2 inches. The 695CX Monopod is equipped with improved ergonomic rapid action extension locks, a wrist strap and a camera platform with dual 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch camera fixing screws.

100% Carbon Fiber Tubes For The Leg Sections

To reduce the weight of the monopod or tripod without any compromises on performance, stability and rigidity, Manfrotto tubes are made of 100% Carbon Fiber. Carbon fiber tubes can be very different in quality, depending on the production process and the percent of carbon fiber material present in the tubes. Manfrotto chose to reach the maximum quality using 100% carbon fiber and the pull winding technology (a special production process that maximizes performance, resistance and reliability).

Magnesium and Aluminum Die Castings

Lightweight magnesium is used for many die-cast parts. Magnesium has a 35% lower density than aluminum. Despite its lower weight, magnesium is more rigid than aluminum, and has the same strength per volume.
