The Manfrotto 745XB MDeVe Aluminum Tripod replaces Manfrotto's 745B MDeVe Tripod. Made entirely of aluminum, the Manfrotto 745XB MDeVe is a two-stage tripod specifically geared towards on-the-go videographers looking for a simple, straightforward and affordable tripod without sacrificing stability. With a maximum load capacity of 15.4 pounds, the Manfrotto 745XB video tripod is designed to handle payloads commonly associated with Mini DV or DVCAMs. An integrated 50mm leveling ball allows for quick set up with ±15° of leveling capability. The 745XB is ideal for travel, quickly folding up to a compact 25 inches and weighing only 5.3 pounds. For applications that demand full extension, the 745XB has a maximum working height of 55.1 inches. For low shots, the 745XB can provide support as low as 12.2 inches with all three legs opened to a full 88 degrees.

The 745XB differs from the 754, 755XB and 756XB MDeVe tripods by utilizing an integrated 50mm leveling ball instead of a center column. This allows for quick set up with 15 degrees of leveling capability, and contributes to making the 745XB ideal for travel, weight, and compactness.

Four Different Leg Angle Settings

Four pre-set independent leg angles -- 23°, 45°, 65° and 88° -- give the tripod great positioning flexibility and versatility, and allow all intermediate heights from the stated minimum to maximum levels to be reached. Stability is assured at all four angles by the spring-loaded step mechanism. Each of the legs can be set to a different angle of spread for more flexible, versatile positioning and to help keep camera equipment well-balanced over the tripod's center of gravity. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism has been greatly improved.
