The Manfrotto 420CSU Heavy Duty Combi-Boom Stand features steel legs and column, with the top two sections in aluminum. The 420CSU is supplied with sandbag counterweight (empty) for maximum stability and smoothness. A version of this stand without the supplied sandbag, model 420CSUNS, is also available. The 420CSU has a maximum height of 154.3 inches and a maximum load capacity of 26.5 pounds. The maximum load at full boom extension is 11 pounds with 77 pounds of counterweight. Lighting booms and boom stands provide the ideal unobtrusive way to position lighting and reflector equipment directly above the subject.
