This allows you to take high-quality video and view objects clearly from a great distance. The VB-C50FSi offers 10 zoom position presets, 3 step backlight controls, and superior motion detection. It is designed to accommodate the specialized needs of the Monitoring industry as well as the broad-based needs of mainstream users. And with its easy setup, you be can be assured that it connects to LAN or the Internet within minutes. Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows the VB-C50FSi to receive both data and power through Ethernet cable, making installation easier at locations without accessible AC power outlets.
Canon VB-C50FSi Key Features
- Built-in Network Server
- The VB-C50FSi Network Cameras can be connected to the Internet or your LAN in an instant. The camera's built-in Web and FTP server automatically assigns an IP address and provides various supports for networking protocols for easy, direct connection to the web and practically any network. Once connected, you're ready for a world of IP monitoring and webcast applications.
- Multi-streaming Capability
- Viewers with slower connections or video-enabled cell phones may not want or be able to receive the camera’s highest-quality video, given its larger file size. For customable flexibility, the camera simultaneously broadcasts in 3 file sizes from which the viewer can select. The system can accommodate up to 50 clients.
- Genuine Canon Optics: 26X Optical Zoom Lens/12X Digital Zoom
- The VB-C50FSi uses the same advanced optical technology that has made Canon a standard of excellence in digital video, making screening and identification in secure buildings extremely accurate. The camera's 26x optical genuine Canon zoom lens with 12x digital zoom offers the highest optical zoom magnification in the industry, making VB-C50FSi the perfect choice for monitoring large facilities.
- Excellent Low-Light Performance
- Security professionals require clear images even in dark environments, and now they can monitor dimly lit locations with Canon's VB-C50FSi Fixed Network camera. The camera will capture clear color images in dim lighting all the way down to a single lux thanks to a highly-sensitive CCD, bright lens and slow shutter capability. Images are further enhanced with automatic noise reduction in both bright and dim light. To enhance visibility in dark areas of the image due to backlight or shade, the camera is equipped with a three-step backlight control function. Also, the supplied Admin Viewer Ver. 3.6 software conducts shade correction, which increases brightness of dark areas without affecting other areas of the image.
- Night Imaging with Infrared Light
- A Night Mode with built-in infrared light allows the camera to capture clear black and white images even in complete darkness. The built-in IR light is effective up to 9.8 feet, and can turn on a commercially available long range-IR light, allowing security administrators to increase their viewing options in varied locations such as dimly lit parking lots, university campuses, hospitals, and warehouse facilities.
- Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- The VB-C50FSi Camera's Power Over Ethernet feature allows the camera to utilize a single Ethernet cable for data transmission and to power the camera. Because Power Over Ethernet makes a separate cable for electrical power unnecessary, this feature simplifies installation in single or multi-camera systems, particularly at sites where AC outlets are not readily accessible, resulting in faster and more cost effective installation.
- High Resolution
- You'll capture and transmit clear, well-focused video with excellent image quality: 30 frames-per-second, 640 x 480 pixels.
- 1/4" 340,000 Effective Pixel CCD for Smooth, High-Quality Video
- The VB-C50FSi comes equipped with a 1/4" CCD with 340,000 effective pixels, giving you an extraordinary level of detail.
- Sophisticated Motion Detection
- Automatic image capture with 15MB of internal memory for storing still images, activated by schedule, motion detection, or
contact sensor. Four areas can be selected for motion detection with the ability to set sensitivity, area ratio, and duration of detected movement. These settings can be independently set in each of the four areas.
- Advanced Scheduling Functions
- The camera's scheduling function allows you to specify when to record images or output signals to an external device, such as an alarm. You can schedule by week, date, time, motion-detection and more.
- 10 Zoom Position Presets
- For added convenience, the VB-C50FSi camera offers ten preset zoom positions for easier monitoring.
- Optional Multiple Connector Interface
- The optional VB-EX50 Multi-Terminal Module provides a multiple-connector interface for secure wire connections. These include: BNC-video in for an external video camera and out for reliable video signal transmission by users who don't require IP-based video, and external sensor in/out for interfacing with external lighting or alarms.
