1 - Recording Formats
High-quality DSS (Digital Speech Standard) recording format provides superior clarity and compatibility with voice recognition software. WMA stereo recording stores highly compressed WMA (Windows Media Audio) format voice messages in integrated flash memory.

The LS-10 Linear PCM Recorder is the ideal tool for high-quality audio capture on the go. Boasting a high-sensitivity, noise reduction stereo microphone, sampling rates of up to 24bit/96kHz and PCM recording, this portable device delivers astounding sound quality. Users are given additional flexibility thanks to three different file formats: in addition to WMA and MP3, the Linear PCM WAV format is also available to satisfy the demands of even the most discerning audiophiles.

2 - Recording Media
For additional ease-of-use, the xD-Picture card can be removed and its contents downloaded to a PC using a number of xD-Picture Card download devices.

The LS-10 includes 2GB of internal memory as well as an SD card slot. For significant increases in storage capacity, this model is even compatible with the SDHC format which can supply up to 32GB of additional storage space.

Just place the Digital Voice Recorder in the included cradle for easy uploading and downloading of your audio files.

8 - Programmable Buttons
Programmable buttons that speed up reaction time increase the DS-4000's and DS-3300's flexibility and reliability. Instead of having more buttons than necessary, the DS-4000 allows users to program the functions they use the most onto either the A or B buttons. The functions include: Index Mark, Record Mode, Microphone Sensitivity, Voice Activation, Display, and more. The DS-3300 offers one programmable button.
9 - True Slide Switch Control
Perhaps the most innovative aspect of the DS-4000 is its "true slide switch" located below the microphone. It's contoured to the thumb for smooth control of record, stop, play and review functions all with the same switch.
10 - Easy Editing
The DS-2300, DS-3300, DS-4000 and DS-5000 allow for easy editing of existing recordings by appending, overwriting, inserting, and erasing or partial-erase of recording.
11 - File Encryption and Device Password Protection
Protecting the confidentiality and security of recordings is essential in the workplace. For this reason, the DS-5000 and DS-5000iD offer file encryption and device password protection.
12 - Biometric Fingerprint Reader
In addition to its file encryption and device password protection security features, the DS-5000iD also features a biometric fingerprint reader device lock to secure the device from unauthorized access, thereby protecting confidential recordings.
13 - Barcode Scanner for Enhanced Workflow
The optional SC1 Barcode Scanner Module for the DS-5000, which plugs into the audio device's SD card slot, further enhances workflow for users who require a barcode scanner. The SC1 Barcode Scanner Module will be available summer 2008.
