The Sony ICD-BX800 Digital Voice Recorder records in MP3 audio and features a new super high quality mode -- 192kbps MP3 recording with a frequency range up to 20,000Hz. The Sony ICD-BX800 Voice Recorder features 2 GB of built-in IC memory which allows the ICD-BX800 to store up to 534 hours of dictation in LP mode.
Operating on two AAA batteries, the 2.3-ounce recording device includes a selectable microphone sensitivity (Hi/Lo) function which enables you to record different situations, from group meetings to individuals, more effectively. Digital VOR (Voice Operated Recording) stops the recording during silent pauses, saving valuable recording time, then begins recording again without missing a single syllable thanks to the digital buffer. Five message folders keep your voice files organized. The large LCD display shows the number of messages recorded, recording length, date, time and battery power remaining.
