Gaming Mode

The closed caption feature has two options: Captions -- an on-screen display of the dialogue, narration, and sound effects of TV programs and videos that are closed captioned; and Text -- an on-screen display of information not related to the current program, such as weather or stock data (when provided by individual stations). When you select MUTE mode, the closed caption feature is automatically activated.

Panel Lock

You can lock the right side panel controls to prevent your settings from being changed accidentally (by children, for example.) When the panel lock is in on, all control buttons on the TV side panel (except Power) do not operate.
